Date: Friday, February 9th – Sunday, February 11th
Where: Church at the Cross
Who: 6th-12th Grade Students
What: Disciple Now is a weekend of discipleship for 6th-12th students, revolving around intentional time in the Bible, in worship, and in community with each other. Students will stay overnight in same gender/same grade host homes provided by covenant members of Church at the Cross. Each group will be led by a team of small group leaders who have been entrusted by the student ministry staff to lead and disciple students.
Theme: The theme for Disciple Now 2018 is Union with Christ. The Bible is clear that only in Jesus Christ is there salvation, and all who have a relationship with Jesus Christ are saved. What, though, is meant by "in Jesus Christ?" Union with Christ is the core, central truth of salvation. Over the course of Disciple Now 2018 we will be diving into the Bible and looking at what it means to have Union with Christ. What does it mean for someone to, by faith, be united with Christ in his life, in his death, and in his resurrection?
