Welcome from pastor jr
Below you will find a message from Lead Pastor JR Vassar describing what to expect when you attend a worship gathering here at Church at the Cross.
Our hope is that you would encounter Jesus from the moment you arrive at Church at the Cross.
One of the primary ways this happens is through our worship gatherings on Sunday mornings.
See below for some direction about where to go and what to expect.
We are conveniently located off Highway 121 in Grapevine, TX. Our most apparent marker is the 100 ft. white cross located at the front of our campus. You will enter in the driveway and drive past the pond to our two main buildings. The building on the right is our North Building where we host our two worship gatherings on Sunday mornings, 9am and 10:45am. The Kids Building on the left is where Kids at the Cross, our kids ministry for birth-5th grade meet. If you have students, they meet during the 10:45am gathering in our North Building.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
From the moment you arrive on campus, a warm and friendly face will be ready to shake your hand and welcome you to our church family. If you have children, they can be dropped off in our Kids Building on the south side of the campus. There are check-in areas on both the first and the second floors with volunteers ready to direct you to your children's rooms. Afterwards, head across the way to our North Building where we host our worship gatherings (9am & 10:45am). OUR WORSHIP GATHERINGS
In the Atrium, you can grab a cup of coffee in The Coffeehouse and either learn more about our church at the Connection Center or walk into our Auditorium for the worship gathering (9am or 10:45am). In our gatherings, you will experience a thoughtful and intentional worship service designed to remind you of the story of God’s saving love, and reorient your life to God and his purposes. You will be led through various elements, such as singing, scripture reading, confession, and pardon. You’ll hear a clear and accessible message from God’s word, and share in weekly communion. Whether you’re a devoted follower of Jesus, new to faith, or just exploring, we design our gatherings to be a meaningful experience regardless of where you are with faith.
