SATURDAY, APRIL 27 | 10AM-12PM | CATC
Gather, a CATC Women's event, is an opportunity for women to connect and share a catered brunch together. The theme for Gather 2019 is Embracing Your Season. Women often feel like “real ministry” is either in front of them or behind them. At Gather, we will hear from several CATC women about the particular challenges in their season of life, and how we can embrace our current seasons with courage and purpose. Come join us for Gather and be encouraged in your season!
Saturday, April 27, from 10am-12pm in the Auditorium at CATC
The cost is $15. Limited seating is available.
Registration will close on Wednesday, April 17 or before if seating capacity is full.
Childcare is not available for this event.
Please do not let the cost of the event keep you from coming. Scholarships are available. Contact Minister to Women, Colleen Searcy, for scholarship information.
CATC WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
At CATC Women's Bible Study, we gather to know God through the study of his Word. Women will be encouraged and equipped to image Christ in their communities, homes, and work places. Whether you are new to studying the Bible or you’ve studied it for years, we want you to join us! We have a three-part approach to Bible study: guided personal study, small group discussion, and large group teaching. We would love for you to join us in the fall!
WHEN DO WE START?
Tuesday, September 3rd, the day after Labor Day
WHEN WILL WE MEET?
Tuesdays from 7pm-9pm
WHAT ARE WE STUDYING?
Genesis, chapters 1-11 (Creation through the Tower of Babel). The word Genesis means “beginning.” In the book of Genesis, we read about the beginning of the world, the beginning of mankind, the beginning of family, the beginning of nations, the beginning of sin. In Genesis, the plan for redemption begins to unfold. Big questions are answered in the first book of the Bible, such as:
Why is there so much suffering in the world?
What is my purpose?
What does it mean to be made in God’s image?
I hope you’ll join us as we study the “beginnings” in the first book of the Bible.
Registration for the fall CATC Women’s Bible study will open in late July.
