Helping kids and families encounter Jesus
CATC Kids provides ministry on Sundays at 9am and 10:45am to birth-5th grade. We meet in a safe and engaging environment in the Kids Building on the south side of our campus.
We are deeply committed to teaching children a Jesus-centered, grace-driven understanding of the entire Bible. We believe that through providing Christ-centered teaching in every opportunity, and through providing parents with biblical resources and discipleship - we can one day send out our kids equipped to accomplish Christ's mission.

GET INVOLVED
YOUR FIRST VISIT
From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll notice lots of friendly faces eager to help you out!
Your first stop when you arrive is the first-time check in area. We want to serve you and your child well, so we’ll take some time to get to know you. We’ll ask about allergies, make sure we know what your child likes to be called, and collect your contact information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the gathering, we will text you. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick-up your child after gathering.

MINISTRY BY AGE

Babies through toddlers are located on the second floor of the Kids Building. We have classrooms for babies, crawlers, early walkers and toddlers. We introduce these young children to Jesus through board books, games, songs and age-appropriate centers.

Classrooms for 2 year olds through kindergarteners are located on the third floor of the Kids Building. Each hour we present a Bible story through The Gospel Project, our Sunday morning curriculum. The music, crafts, Bible story, and Scripture memory all point our children toward Jesus Christ.

Small Groups for 1st – 3rd grades meets at 9am & 10:45am. During this time, the teacher communicates the day’s Bible story and how it is part of God’s big story. To reinforce the story, the children engage in fun activities for multiple learning styles. Time is also spent on Bible skills and Scripture memorization. Children are encouraged, loved and prayed for by our caring volunteers.
Along with the study of the day’s story, children sing, play games and experience an object lesson to internalize the Bible story and Christ Connection. A missions video helps kids learn how God equips all Christians to share the gospel with others.

To reinforce the story, the children engage in fun activities for multiple learning styles. Time is also spent on Bible skills and Scripture memorization. Children are encouraged, loved and prayed for by our caring ministry partners. We encourage our preteens to join their families in the 9am worship gathering.
Kids Events
The Nest
The Nest is a multi-sensory resource room where children can breathe deep, feel known, and return to calm. Here, sensory needs are met with compassion and connection, allowing every child to experience the love of God in a way their body and spirit can receive. Our mission is to honor the image of God in every child by helping them regulate, reconnect, and rejoin community at their own pace.
Nest volunteers are equipped and trained to create a calm, Christ-centered environment where children with big behaviors, big feelings and/or sensory needs find rest and regulation.

You can feel secure when leave your child with CATC Kids. Our ministry partners are screened, background-checked, and trained. CATC KIDS uses a check-in system that includes a guardian receipt to ensure that your child is safely returned to the correct guardian.

The Gospel and Baptism for Kids class is for kids who have questions about what baptism is and the importance it has for their relationship with God. Parents are encouraged to attend. Check our Kids Calendar for upcoming dates.

Parent-Child Dedication is a time in our gatherings to thank God for the gift of children, to celebrate a parent’s promise to make their home Jesus-Centered and to commit as a church to support and partner with families. The next dedication date can be found on our Kids Calendar. Parents must be Covenant Members of CATC to participate.

To help create a safe and healthy environment for every child, family, volunteer, and staff member, we ask that children and team members who are experiencing symptoms of illness stay home from children’s ministry activities.
Please stay home if any of these symptoms are present:
Fever of 100° or higher
Vomiting or diarrhea
Persistent runny nose
Excessive coughing
Sore throat
Undiagnosed rash
Symptoms of contagious illnesses such as RSV, pink eye, strep throat, or chicken pox
Antibiotic use within the last 24 hours
