Megan and Alex Mercado serve here in the DFW area with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Wycliffe is one of the most storied mission organizations in the world with a heritage of translating the Bible into hundreds of languages since its inception in 1942.
Alex and Megan make software to help people of all languages understand the Bible and flourish through the restoration of God’s design for their lives. They are able to serve thousands of language communities by contributing to the team efforts of Wycliffe Bible Translators and SIL International.
Megan conducts academic research to advocate for the well-being of minority language communities. She also researches how people use software and tools for Bible translation and ministry. Alex incorporates Megan’s research and human psychology to design or improve that software. Together, they contribute to an ecosystem of tools that equip Bible translators and ministries all over the world.
