CATC Student Life Groups
What Are Student Life Groups?
Young or old, spiritual formation really is a community project! If teenagers are going to become all that God desires for them to be in Christ, they need to be connected in relationships with other Christians in the church. Student Life Groups are provided every Sunday morning so teenagers can do just that! Student Life Groups are an avenue for students to grow in their understanding of the bible and the things of God, grow in relationships with other Christians, and be spurned on to continue following Jesus in all of life. We hope to see your teenager at Student Life Groups every Sunday morning!
Who Can Come?
Student Life Groups are for all teenagers grades 6th-12th! Each teenager is grouped with other same gender, similar age students and a pair of adult volunteer leaders to be led by. All of our adult volunteer leaders are Covenant Members of Church at the Cross, have been background checked, and have taken a Sexual Abuse Awareness Course. If you have any questions regarding who your teenager will be led by or how he or she could get plugged in, please do not hesitate in contacting a student ministry staff member.
What Do Student Life Groups Discuss?
The bible really is telling one great story! From cover to cover, the bible is telling the great story about God’s redemptive plan to save for himself a people through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible really is all about Jesus. The student ministry utilizes The Gospel Project for Student Curriculum because of its emphasis on Jesus in all the bible.
