The Triumph of The Lamb

A Litany based on Selected Scriptures

Jesus. He is the seed of the woman who will crush the head of Satan.(1) He is the Son who was given, the child who was born; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end…(2) This is the One who is the first and the last, and the living one; who died, and behold is alive forevermore, and who has the keys of Death and the grave.(3) The One God raised from the dead and seated at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.(4)

His gospel and kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.(5) He will come, Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. The one who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood...and all glory and dominion will be his forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.(6)

The world will rage against this. They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.(7) The kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever;(8) all kings will fall down before him, all nations will serve
him!(9) To him is given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.(10)

AND IN THAT EVERLASTING KINGDOM, There will no longer be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face...And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.(11)

AND WE WILL FOREVER SING ...with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!”(12)
