WOMEN’S MINISTRY LEADERSHIP COLLECTIVES
The Church at the Cross Women’s Ministry believes in equipping and empowering women to serve and lead. The Women’s Ministry Leadership Collectives provide structured opportunities for women to use their spiritual gifts for the edification of the church.
Qualifications for women’s leadership collective members:
To serve as a member of a Collective, individuals should:
Be a current Covenant Member of Church at the Cross.
Demonstrate Christian character in both word and deed (Colossians 3:17).
Have a passion and heart for encouraging and equipping women through the use of their spiritual gifts (1 Peter 4:10).
Seek God’s guidance in prayer and in conversation with family or community before committing to a leadership role (James 1:5).
COMMITMENT EXPECTATIONS:
Serve on the Women’s Leadership Team as a Collective Member for one year (barring unforeseen circumstances).
Attend Collective Meetings at the agreed upon times and dates.
Seek to maintain unity within the team, edifying, respecting, upholding, and affirming one another as fellow servants of Jesus (Romans 12:10).
Cooperate with church leadership to support the plans and activities of the church as established by the elders (Hebrews 13:17).
COLLECTIVE DESCRIPTIONS

The Women’s Conference is a key event designed to bring women together for connection, encouragement, and biblical application. The conference will feature a guest speaker on Friday night and breakout sessions and lunch on Saturday.
Members of the Conference Collective will play an active role in planning and executing the event by:
Considering programmatic elements of the event that will address the current spiritual needs and culture of the women at CATC.
Deciding on hospitality elements including check-in, food, drinks, decorations, door prizes, and greeting.
Taking ownership of a specific element to plan and implement.
Serving as a point person for volunteers assisting with the event.

As our normal church rhythms in Life Groups and Discipleship Groups pause for the summer, we Summer Groups provide a space for women to stay connected through weekly fellowship and book discussions, providing a space for connection outside of our established Life Groups.
Summer Group Leaders will:
Co-lead an 8-week group alongside another leader, sharing hosting and facilitation responsibilities.
Prepare to guide discussions over a selected book. No teaching required, just facilitating fruitful conversations.
Communicate meeting details (dates/ location) with group members.
Stay connected to the Minister to Women for support and guidance with any issues that arise.

Gather is a women’s event designed for women in all seasons to find community, worship, and encouragement. It includes a meal, fellowship, and teaching from God’s Word.
Members of the Gather Collective will work alongside the Minister to Women to:
Develop a theme and program that speaks to the spiritual needs of CATC women.
Organize hospitality elements such as food, drinks, decorations, door prizes, and greeting.
Take ownership of a specific element and ensure its successful execution.
Serving as a point person for volunteers assisting with the event.

The Social Collective is dedicated to planning casual gatherings where women can build relationships and invite non-believing friends into a welcoming community.
Members of the Social Collective will:
Select a social event activity that fosters connection.
Plan hospitality details such as food, drinks, decorations, and guest experience.
Take ownership of a specific element and oversee its execution.
Serve as a point person for volunteers assisting with the event.
Work with the Minister to Women to explore additional social opportunities.

CATC Women’s Ministry is passionate about training and providing teaching opportunities for women with the spiritual gift of teaching. Members of the Teaching Collective will:
Attend four Teaching Class sessions in February 2026.
Teach in various contexts, by invitation, in contexts including Women’s Serve Days and Social Events, CATC Training Classes, Gather, Women’s Conference, kids/student ministry, etc.
