One Body, One Mission - Manley Carpenter's Story

Manley Carpenter woke up from his surgery, immediately feeling something was wrong. After a couple more days in the hospital, he was discharged with minimal medication. After hours of being at home, he soon realized he could not bear the pain anymore. He needed medical attention.

Then the Church responded in force. Hour after hour, night and day CATC members could be found sitting, reading, and even singing over Manley. Women held his hand and wept as they prayed. Men physically held Manley down through seizing pain. Why would our people care so deeply for someone they just met? Because we are the Church - one body with one mission: to help people and places encounter Jesus.
