Week 6: Why and How Should I Read the Bible?

Tonight is about discovering the power and purpose of God’s Word. Attendees will consider why the Bible matters today and how it speaks personally to our lives.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 — All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Prayer Prompt: Pray that guests would see the Bible not as an ancient book, but as the living Word of God that still speaks today. Ask God to create a hunger in their hearts to know Him through Scripture. Pray that His Word would come alive, bringing clarity, conviction, and comfort. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide guests as they begin reading, helping them understand God’s truth and see how it points to Jesus on every page.
