Equipping Disciples

Last year we launched our first round of CATC Training courses on Wednesday nights. The goal of these courses is to see disciples of Jesus equipped in some of core competencies of the Christian life. We do not want to be a church that simply talks about prayer, evangelism, discipleship, teaching, parenting, and theology. We want to see people equipped in these areas so that they can confidently walk wherever God calls them to walk. This is why we created training courses and our first year was a great success! 

Over the course of the year we saw more than 200 people come through these classes and receive specific training for life and ministry. All classes take place on Wednesday night in effort to unite with the Kids Midweek and Student Midweek program. In the Spring our Women’s Ministry joined the mix and offered a training class specific for women. This has made our Wednesday nights an active night at CATC and a great opportunity for families and new connections. It was a fun and productive year and we are looking forward to another exciting year this year.

Our fall 2024 classes started in September and we launched new courses on Connecting Faith and Work, Understanding Gen Z, and Discipleship. We also offered a repeat of a few courses that were in high demand last year such as Doctrine, Parenting with a Global Vision, and Prayer.
